We are now searching our database for summer alpine accommodation in your chosen resort of Vaujany in France, this should only take a few moments, thank you for your patience...

Hardly any other resort in the Alps combines tradition and modernity so well as Vaujany does. Located on the mountain side, the family-friendly village provides traditional alpine charm with its crooked alleys and streets. In the past the locals used to depend on the regional farming products, however since the last war this has changed drastically. Vaujany now belongs to one of the wealthiest districts in France thanks to a large dam lake in the valley which operates a hydroelectric power plant. By installing one of the most modern gondolas in France, Vaujany is now perfectly connected to the renowned ski area of Alpe d'Huez and therefore has become very popular with winter sports enthusiasts. If you are also looking for entertainment aside the piste then you will surely be happy with the spa pool complex or on the newly opened ice rink (58 x 28 m) with large visitor's stand and the new bowling alley. Vaujany offers its guests a free parking garage. To save tired legs the ascent to the accommodation there are escalators which operate between the various levels of the village. Numerous restaurants, pizzerias and some bars round off the village's tourist offers.

Remember if you don't find quite what you are looking for you can always give us a call. We are ready to help you find your perfect alpine holiday. Or perhaps you might like to consider an alternative destination? For example have you considered Adelboden in Switzerland? - Adelboden chalet rentals can enjoy a chocolate box village setting with lots to do off the piste, but also with extensive slopes including an area shared with Lenk. Or perhaps as a possible alternative suggestion how about Mayrhofen in Austria? - If you choose to stay in one of our Mayrhofen chalets, you will enjoy a large, lively resort with relatively reliable snow on local slopes and access to a nearby glacier.
