We are now searching our database for summer alpine accommodation in your chosen resort of Le Grand Bornand in France, this should only take a few moments, thank you for your patience...

Situated in the Aravis Massif not far from its larger neighbour La Clusaz, this small pleasant village has managed to retain its traditional alpine charm, whilst steadily growing to become the second major ski resort in the area. Skiing is mainly geared for beginners and intermediates, but all levels are well catered for on the Aravis ski pass which covers the resorts of La Clusaz and St Jean de Sixt with regular half hourly ski buses connecting these areas. Most of the skiing accommodation is sited 6kms up the road from the old town at the satellite village of Le Chinaillon, and close to the ski slopes of Mont Lachat. At an altitude of 1300m this annex has been developed in an appealing alpine chalet style, and is generally livelier than Le Grand Bornand village.

Remember if you don't find quite what you are looking for you can always give us a call. We are ready to help you find your perfect alpine holiday. Or perhaps you might like to consider an alternative destination? For example have you considered Inari in Finland? - When hiring a chalet in Inari you will enjoy a tiny arctic village located in Finland’s most significant Sámi centre, making it a great introduction to Sámi culture and traditions. The village sits on Lapland’s largest lake, Inarijärvi, a spectacular body of water with more than 3000 islands. Take a look at the Inari accommodation on offer at our sister site finlandchalets.co.uk. Or perhaps as a possible alternative suggestion how about Val dIsere in France? - Renting one of our Val d’Isere ski chalets? You can expect one of the great high mega-resorts, with a very attractive town at the base. Val d’Isere is one of the world’s best resorts for experts. [Less]
